Old Bowie Celebrates! 2025—a fun-filled community festival honoring our town’s rich cultural roots—returns on Saturday, October 4, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Enjoy nonstop entertainment with live music and dance on multiple stages, featuring a mix of genres and cultural performances. Roaming performers—including a stilt walker and juggler—add to the excitement, along with a trackless train ride on the Heritage Trail and outdoor games.
Families will find plenty to enjoy, especially in the dedicated kids' zone, complete with arts and crafts, balloon twisting, and family-friendly performances. Plus, explore a juried art show, shop local and handcrafted goods, and sample delicious local and international cuisine.
The festival stretches from 12th Street & Chestnut Avenue to Maple Avenue at 9th Street, and is co-sponsored by the Old Bowie Arts & Heritage Committee and the City of Bowie. Admission is free.
