Marc Douglas Berardo and Walt Wilkins bring an evening of acclaimed Americana, folk, and singer-songwriter music to the stage.
Walt Wilkins is a Texas songwriter, singer, producer, and troubadour whose songs have been recorded by artists including Pat Green, Kenny Rogers, Ricky Skaggs, Eric Church, Balsam Range, and Kellie Pickler. Wilkins has released nine solo records, four albums with The Mighty Mystiqueros, and has had more than 100 songs recorded by other artists. His work blends Texas country, folk, acoustic rock, and roots music, with an emphasis on storytelling and songwriting.
Marc Douglas Berardo is a Rhode Island-based singer-songwriter and guitarist who has been performing since the 1980s. His music draws from folk, Americana, country, and acoustic rock, combining character-driven songwriting with humor and storytelling. Berardo has shared stages with artists including Jimmy LaFave, Kevin Welch, John Hiatt, Catie Curtis, Martin Sexton, Livingston Taylor, Ruthie Foster, Red Molly, and Will Kimbrough, and has appeared at songwriter festivals including Telluride, Kerrville, Rocky Mountain Folks Fest, and the Tucson Folk Festival.
The two artists have also collaborated professionally. Wilkins and Ron Flynt produced Berardo’s album The Beauty of This Now, recorded in Austin, Texas. Wilkins also contributes harmony vocals to the album. The record features musicians including Glenn Fukunaga, Bart de Win, Ron Flynt, Chris Beall, Geoff Queen, and Scrappy Jud Newcomb.
