The single most pressing issue facing my constituents is the influence of special interests. It is leading local government in a direction that does not consider the needs of current residents. nities together to tackle the serious issues, and I would continue that focus moving forward.
If you are challenging an incumbent, in what way has the current officeholder failed the community?
The incumbent believes money solves everything. The County lacks the human resources and other necessities that money can provide. We need a better use of the money and more efficient government to provide for the needs of the people.
What other issues do you intend to address during your campaign?
The inequities that have plagued our County and communities for far too long. These inequities have led to poor education, inadequate social services, rapid and unplanned growth, food deserts, and a failing infrastructure.

I was the legal advisor to the military task force that inaugurated the 43rd President of the United States. Finally, I managed a nationwide program to vet out discrimination in lending and ensure consumer protection in banking.
What is the best advice anyone ever gave you?
Never be afraid to speak up about injustice. And, don't chase money; if you are good at what you do, money will chase you.
