This senior kitty was from an outdoor cat colony. He's an indoor cat now, and he needs a home in Prince George's to enjoy his golden years.

Grey

Personality: Iโ€™d rather be a lover than a fighter, but I got in a few fights in my younger days. Iโ€™m older now, and have had most of my teeth removed, so Iโ€™m content to just be a lap cat. Thereโ€™s nothing I love more than being petted! Iโ€™m very curious and like to explore. I also love to eat! Occasionally I get the cat version of zoomies and run around pouncing on everything. The vets say Iโ€™m an old man, but I donโ€™t feel old at all! New things scare me a bit, but a calm, friendly voice reassuring me is all I need to feel comfortable.

Hobbies: Playing with toys, being petted.

Favorite Toy: Strings, catnip, anything I can chase.

Favorite Napping Spot: Snuggled up next to my person.

Dream Family: Iโ€™m looking forward to living my best years in a quiet home with lots of toys and human company. My new family will need to remember I havenโ€™t lived inside for very long and will need to be careful I donโ€™t run outside when I see an open door.

How I Came To The SPCA: I was part of a backyard colony and soon after being neutered, I invited myself into my feederโ€™s house and never left. Her two older house cats donโ€™t like having a new sibling though, so Iโ€™m looking for a home where I wonโ€™t have to compete for attention.

The local SPCA is a volunteer-run organization that does not operate a physical shelter. Volunteers house the animals in their own homes until they are adopted.
