The Cat Meow Luau is Back

Prince George’s County Animal Services Facility is hosting its Cat Meow Luau adoption event again.

On Friday, Aug. 29 from noon to 6 p.m. and Saturday, Aug. 30 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., adoption fees for cats and kittens are only $5. The fee covers all new adoption services, including shots, spay/neuter and microchip operations.

The last Cat Meow Luau earlier this month resulted in the adoption of 19 kittens and cats from the shelter.

But if the $5 fee isn’t low enough, those who participate in the “How Low Can You Go?” limbo contest may get adoption fees waived entirely.

The Animal Services Facility is located at 37650 Brown Station Road in Upper Marlboro.
