LANDOVER, MD — Two young boys are OK after Prince George's County firefighters pulled them from the mud after they had become stuck in Landover on Sunday.
The incident happened near the intersection of Sheriff Road and Countrywide Court, PG Fire spokesman Mark Brady tweeted just before 1 p.m. One 10-year-old boy had been pulled out by police when the PG Fire Department technical rescue team went to work on the 11-year-old boy, who was stuck up to his knees.
Only minutes later, Brad reported that the second child had been extricated and was being examined by medics.

"My friend, brother, he got stuck, so I went over there to go help him," said one of the boys, who was not identified, in a video posted by Fox 5. "Both of his feet were stuck, so what I did, I tried to help him get out until my feet got stuck. I was starting to feel cold but then I realized I just wanted to stay calm."
