City Purchases THREE Brand New Electric Vehicles
The City purchased a completely electric Nissan Leaf in 2012. In order to further our green endeavors, the City has purchased three brand new Chevy Bolts to add to our fleet. Code Compliance Officers drive an average of only 40-50 miles per day making electric vehicles (EVs) a great option to reduce petroleum dependence and greenhouse gas emissions. This brings our green fleet to a total of four EVs, four hybrid vehicles, and two electric motorcycles (used by the Police Department).

Next time you see staff tooling around town in a white Chevy Bolt, give us a wave and let us know you support our efforts towards sustainability!
Please note, the dual chargers installed at the employee entrance of City Hall are for charging city vehicles only. They are not to be used by the public.
