A 36-year-old Clarksburg man has been charged in connection to three indecent exposure incidents involving students at UMD, police say.
COLLEGE PARK, MD — A 36-year-old Clarksburg man has been arrested after police say he exposed himself to a student from inside a white van.
On Feb. 1 around 4 p.m., a woman reported to police a man exposing himself to her inside a white van on campus. An officer saw the van leaving campus heading east on University Boulevard. Officers stopped the van on Paint Branch Drive at Engineering Drive. The driver, Ryan Joseph Cibula, was taken to University of Maryland Police Department headquarters and later released, the police department said.
Investigators determined that Cibula also was connected to an indecent exposure incident that happened Jan. 24, as well as a third indecent exposure that happened earlier that same day, according to the police department.
