Clinton Presidential Campaign Opens Bowie Office

BOWIE, MD — With two weeks to go until Maryland voters weigh in on the presidential races, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is opening field offices in Bowie and Bethesda.

The public may attend the openings, both set for 7:15 tonight, April 12.

Maryland’s primary election will be held April 26; polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. that day.

Early voting in Maryland begins Thursday, April 14, and runs through Thursday, April 21. Polling places are open from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. those days.

Races from presidential contests to the state legislature will be on ballots across Maryland. The Democratic presidential contest in Maryland will be a close-fought primary, with Sen. Bernie Sanders cutting Clinton’s lead in half since a poll a month ago.

According to a campaign news release, U.S. Secretary of Labor Tom Perez will speak at the Montgomery County office opening to lay out the reasons he believes Clinton is the best candidate to help Marylanders get ahead and stay ahead.

At both events, supporters and grassroots volunteers will tell voters why Clinton is the right candidate to get incomes rising and break down the barriers holding Maryland families back.

The new offices will serve as a hub for organizing activity with volunteers planning and launching phone banks and canvasses to encourage Marylanders to vote for Clinton on April 26, the campaign says.

Delegate Carlo Sanchez will be the featured speaker at the Bowie office, 4201 Northview Drive, No. 220.

The Bethesda office is located at 7910 Woodmont Ave., Suite 906.
