As a faith-based, virtual mental health practice based in Maryland, we are dedicated to walking alongside individuals, couples, and families as they navigate life’s challenges. 💙 Our Story Born from a vision to integrate faith and psychology, Special Hands Outreach has grown from a solo practice into a team of compassionate clinicians serving clients across Maryland. Our school, Accrete Martial Arts (AMA), is passionate about empowering individuals of all ages through the practice of martial arts. PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — A coat drive benefitting Prince George's seniors runs now through Dec. 1. Donations can be dropped off at 1845 Brightseat Road in Hyattsville. New coats for men and women or a donation toward the purchase of a coat will be accepted. A few years ago, I began a journey to create a nonprofit dedicated to supporting cancer patients here in Prince George&rsquo;s County. It&rsquo;s been a long and meaningful road, and I&rsquo;m excited to share that we are getting very close to launching our services.
As many know, the cancer journey requires far more than medical treatment. True healing and thriving also depend on physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual support. Our mission is to provide wellness services that help individuals navigate life during and after a cancer diagnosis.
We&rsquo;re currently looking for support from our community:
&#10024; Pro bono instructors 
We are seeking a few additional volunteers to lead yoga and meditation
sessions. If you&mdash;or someone you know&mdash;might be interested, we would love to connect.
&#10024; Board Members 
We are also expanding our Board of Directors and seeking passionate individuals who want to make a meaningful impact. Current needs include: 
&bull; A Treasurer with a nonprofit accounting background 
&bull; Board members with experience in social media, fundraising, donor relations, sponsorships, or grants
