Coldest Temps So Far This Fall Arriving For Weekend

Carved pumpkins and falling leaves remind us the seasons are changing, but the big reminder will come this weekend.

Forecasters are expecting the coldest temperatures so far this season in Maryland, with the chance for frost, and temperatures close to freezing.

Low temperatures could reach 15 degrees below normal, according to the National Weather Service.

Highs during the day Saturday and Sunday are expected to stay in the 50s, according to forecasters.

Saturday night, temperatures should drop to the low 30s.

Sunday night has the potential of being even colder, with a low reaching to 34 degrees in parts of the D.C. metro area.

Monday night will be another cold one, with warmer temperatures starting to return Tuesday and we’ll reach the upper 60s Wednesday, according to the weather service.

• Friday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 43.
• Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 57.
• Saturday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 36.
• Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 52.
• Sunday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 34.
• Monday: Sunny, with a high near 53.
• Monday Night: C lear, with a low around 37.
• Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 60.
