College Park to Get First Amazon Brick-and-Mortar Location in DC Area: Report
The 3,000-square-foot space at Terrapin Row will serve as a pickup location only.

COLLEGE PARK, MD — College Park will reportedly get the first physical Amazon location in the D.C. area, but it won't sell anything.
The Washington Business Journal reports that Amazon will be opening up a 3,000-square-foot pickup location at the Terrapin Row student housing building for University of Maryland students.
That means it will only be a pickup location for Amazon orders and won't actually sell any retail items. There may also be a lounge area for students, according to the report.
