Community Cleanup Saturday Starts At 8 AM At 2 Sites In Prince George's County

The community is invited to a countywide clean-up initiative Saturday that starts at two sites in Prince George's County.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD β€” Prince George’s County Executive Angela Alsobrooks will host the spring 2022 β€œGrowing Green with Pride Day” community cleanup Saturday starting at 8 a.m.

The biannual countywide event supports the county executive’s geautification initiative to keep the county’s roadways, parks, and neighborhoods clean by conducting individual community litter collection and beautification events across the county. The county executive will join several community organizations and groups that will be placing mulch, picking up litter and beautifying the county.

The event will start at two points at Creative Suitland, 4719 Silver Hill Rd., in Suitland and High Point High School, 3601 Powder Mill Rd., in Beltsville.
