Coronavirus: Grab-And-Go Meal Service For PG County Altered

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — Students in Prince George's County Public Schools will be able to make fewer visits to pick up a week's worth of "grab and go" lunches.

Starting on Monday, PGCPS student can pick up meals for two days on Mondays and three days on Wednesdays. They'll still receive a full school-week's worth of meals but only have to pick them up twice in the week instead of daily.

Because of spring break, there will be no meal service on Monday, April 13. Meal service will resume on April 14, with one meal. Three meals will be available on Wednesday, April 15.

PCGPS students can pick up breakfast, lunch and a snack at 43 sites across the county. Parents can pick up meals for their children by showing a student ID and report card. Meals are available for pickup 10 a.m.-1 p.m. A parent or guardian does not need to be present.
