County's Food Basket Program Needs Donations
Prince George's County Public Safety Assistance Program has started its 31st year of providing holiday dinners to needy county families.

Law enforcement and emergency responders throughout Prince George’s County are accepting food and money donations to provide food baskets for local families.
The Prince George’s County Public Safety Assistance Program has started its 31st year of providing holiday dinners to needy county families. The combined resources of county government, fire/EMS, corrections, sheriff, police and Homeland Security are collecting canned goods and preparing food baskets for delivery.
You can help by donating canned goods through Tuesday, Dec. 21.

Money can also be donated at any time. Make your check payable to “FOOD” and mail to P.O. Box 548, Upper Marlboro, MD, 20773-0548.
The PSAP is a 501c3 organizations and all contributions are tax deductible.

All contributions/donations are voluntary and all sponsors understand that their businesses will not receive any special treatment or favors as a result of the gift/donation and that the county will not support or endorse any particular sponsor.
Collection drum locations are:
- All county police stations Districts 1-6, plus the Police Special Operations division and Public Safety Communications
- County Courthouse in Upper Marlboro
- Prince George’s County Administration Building
- Largo Government Center
- Sports and Learning Complex – Landover
- FOP Lodge #89 in Upper Marlboro
- Sasscer Building in Upper Marlboro
- Inglewood 3 and RMS Building in Largo
