The couple led police to a shallow grave in Riverdale, police say.
GREENBELT, MD — A man and a woman have been arrested in connection with the murder of their baby boy in Greenbelt, according to a report from the Prince George's County Police Department. Police have arrested 32-year-old Antoine Petty and 24-year-old Geneice Petty, who are accused of killing 3-month-old Antoine Flemons.
Family members alerted police Oct. 17 that Geneice Petty and Antoine Flemons, who lived in the 8500 block of Greenbelt Road, were missing. Detectives located Geneice Petty and Antoine Petty a day later, and Antoine Petty admitted in interviews that he "assaulted his son resulting in the child's death," the report states.
"Both then admitted that they buried the baby in an effort to conceal the crime," the report states. "The suspects lead detectives to a shallow grave in the Riverdale area where the baby was discovered dead."
