Crofton Woman Dies After Car Accident In Bowie: Police
An Anne Arundel County woman died after a car accident in Prince George's County, police said.
COLLEGE PARK, MD — Police said a Tuesday evening car accident in Bowie hospitalized two women. One of those victims died soon after, an incident report noted.
Troopers identified her as Michelle McMillan of Crofton. She was 42.
Police informed that McMillan was driving her passenger south on Crain Highway at John Hanson Highway around 10 p.m. The write-up indicated that the Chrysler 300 sedan verged left off the roadway and overturned, trapping the driver and her front-seat passenger.

Medics took both women to the University of Maryland Prince George’s Hospital Center, a press release clarified.
Troopers are still investigating the cause of the accident.

CORRECTION: A previous version of this story said the accident took place in College Park, but it actually happened in Bowie. Troopers from the College Park Barrack are handling the investigation, however.
