Deadly Hotel Fire Erupts In Camp Springs, House Fire Displaces 5 Residents
A hotel fire claimed the life of 1 person while 5 people were displaced following a house fire, according to the Prince George's fire dept.
PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — A hotel guest has died after a fire broke out at the Days Inn by Wyndham Monday. Firefighters also battled two house fires Monday.
Around 7:42 a.m., firefighters were called to the Days Inn by Wyndham at 5151 Allentown Rd. in Camp Springs. The fire broke out in a second floor unit. Firefighters found the body of an adult and the incident is under investigation, according to the Prince George's County Fire and Rescue Department.
A house fire broke out around 7:12 a.m. Monday in the 2400 block of Iverson Street in Marlow Heights. The two-story townhome had smoke rolling out of the structure. The fire department reported that the flames didn't spread to neighboring units.

A fire also damaged a home in the 6200 block of Teaberry Way in Clinton Monday around 7:13 p.m. Firefighters found flames on the first and second floors. Three adults and three kids were displaced, according to the fire department.
