Do You Know Pedestrian Hit By 3 Vehicles Including Police Car?

Prince George's County Police have so far been unable to identify a man who died after he was hit by 3 vehicles, including a patrol car.

LANGLEY PARK, MD — Police are asking for help from the public as investigators try to identify a pedestrian killed when he was hit Sunday by three vehicles, including a police car.

Authorities on Wednesday asked the public if anyone knows the victim, described as a Hispanic man between 20 and 25 years old, 5’6”, and 140 pounds. He was wearing a black Miami HEAT cap.

Anyone with information that could help investigators is asked to call 301-306-5640. No family members have contacted police about the victim.

The man was struck by three vehicles about 2:30 a.m. Sunday in the westbound lanes of the 2000 block of University Boulevard. Authorities say the pedestrian was not in a crosswalk.

Two civilian vehicles struck the victim before a Prince George's County Police officer in his marked cruiser hit the man. The officer gave first aid to the pedestrian until emergency medical personnel arrived; the victim was pronounced dead on the scene.
