Donald Trump is Coming to Prince George's County This Week
The president has accepted an invitation to speak Friday at CPAC, which is being held at the Gaylord in National Harbor.
NATIONAL HARBOR, MD — President Donald Trump will be paying a visit to Prince George's County later this week, as he has been confirmed to attend the Conservative Political Action Conference being held at the Gaylord National Harbor Hotel.
Vice President Mike Pence is also expect to attend CPAC, which is the biggest conservative political conference of the year. That means there will be quite the security presence in National Harbor when he makes his speech at 10 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 24.
CPAC kicks off on Wednesday and will run through Saturday. The Gaylord has hosted CPAC for the last few years, but this is the first time a sitting president will address CPAC at the hotel.

That means security is going to be quite extensive in the area, especially considering the fact that his presence may draw considerable protests.
Other speakers at the event include top White House staff like Reince Priebus and Stephen Bannon, as well as other presidential candidates like Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker and Texas Sen. Ted Cruz. TV personalities like Sean Hannity and Lou Dobbs will also be on hand.

The event sparked controversy by inviting conservative firebrand Milo Yiannopoulos, but his invitation was pulled after video emerged of him appearing to defend pedophilia.
