Dr. Jacquelyn Dunmore-Griffith joins Doctors Regional Cancer Center

Dunmore-Griffith brings more than 20 years of experience in health care

Doctors Regional Cancer Center, which has an office in Bowie, hired Dr. Jacquelyn Dunmore-Griffith, a board-certified physician specializing in radiation oncology with more than 20 years of experience in health care.

Prior to joining Doctors Regional Cancer Center, Dunmore-Griffith practiced at Howard University Hospital in Washington, D.C., where she served as interim chair of the Department of Radiation Oncology, on the cancer committee, the customer experience and engagement committee and the patient relations committee. She is an assistant professor in the Howard University College of Medicine Department of Radiation Oncology.

Dunmore-Griffith has also conducted medical research at Howard University Cancer Center, written and contributed to medical journals and delivered breast cancer presentations in the Washington area.

Her professional memberships include the American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology and the National Medical Association.

Dunmore-Griffith completed her residency at Howard University Hospital and earned her medical degree at the Howard University College of Medicine. She holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina.
