Driver Sought In Fatal Hit-And-Run Crash In PG County: Police
Maryland State Police are searching for the driver of a Mini Cooper involved in the fatal crash on Interstate 495.

CAPITOL HEIGHTS, MD — Maryland State Police are searching for a driver involved in a fatal hit-and-run crash in Prince George's County on Saturday morning.
According to police, the crash happened shortly before 2 a.m. on the southbound side of Interstate 495. Police said a pedestrian was walking on the interstate south of Ritchie Marlboro Road when they were struck by a Mini Cooper.
The pedestrian died at the scene, police said. Authorities did not release their name pending notification of family.

According to authorities, the Mini Cooper was likely a 2009 to 2014 model and sustained damage to the right front end during the crash.
