Driver Thrown from Postal Truck in Bowie Accident

Prince George's County authorities say the man suffered life-threatening injuries in the rollover.

A man thrown from an overturned postal truck suffered critical injuries in the mishap Thursday on Route 450 in Bowie.

Prince George’s County Fire Department spokesman Mark Brady said on Twitter that the driver is a man between 25 and 30 years old who was taken to the hospital with critical, life-threatening injuries.

No other injuries were reported.

The accident happened about 3 p.m. on Route 450 near High Bridge Road in Bowie, WTOP reports.

Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
