Dump Truck Flips Over on Route 4 in Upper Marlboro, 2 Injured [PHOTOS]
The crash shut down the outbound lanes of Route 4 during rush hour Wednesday morning.

UPPER MARLBORO, MD — Two people were injured after a dump truck flipped over on Route 4 in Upper Marlboro Wednesday morning.
Prince George's County Fire and EMS spokesman Mark Brady tweeted at 7:56 a.m. that the crash happened on Route 4 near the intersection with Route 301. Both individuals had injuries that were not life-threatening, he noted.
The Prince George's County Fire Department hazmat team responded to the scene to clean up the fuel spill from the truck.

Brady did not say what the dump truck was carrying, but pictures from the scene show a large spill of what appears to be dirt covering most of the outbound lanes.
The crash resulted in significant traffic backups during rush hour.
