Early Dismissal For PG County Schools Due To Heat
With heat indexes expected to soar into the 100s again, PG County schools are shutting down early.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD -- Attention, parents who dropped off their kids at school today in Prince George's County: you'll need to pick them up early. And you may have to do it Thursday, too.
Prince George's County Public Schools have announced that with heat indexes expected to soar into the 100s, they will be dismissing students early on Wednesday, according to a statement.
"In light of the expected high temperatures Wednesday, we are dismissing all schools two hours early," the statement reads. "We will reassess for Thursday. To date, there have been isolated incidents in various classrooms, but we have kept overall conditions under control."
