Early Morning House Fire In Laurel Draws Firefighters From 4 Departments

An early morning house fire broke out Wednesday in Laurel. Firefighters from four departments helped battle the blaze.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — An early morning house fire broke out Wednesday around 6:15 a.m. in the 13900 block of Chadsworth Terrace in Laurel.

Firefighters found a two-story single family home engulfed in flames when they arrived. The Prince George's Fire Department sounded a second alarm for additional firefighters to help protect nearby homes.

Three surrounding homes suffered minor damage from radiant heat. The residents were able to safely evacuate and no injuries were reported.
