Emergency Workers Honored At Special Breakfast Hosted By Seniors At Tribute At Melford
Tribute at Melford, a senior living residence, hosted a special breakfast for Prince George's County emergency workers.
PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — Tribute at Melford, a senior living residence, held a special breakfast for county first responders recently as a way to thank them for all they do for the community.
Police officers, firefighters and EMTs along with local 911 call center employees were able to sit and share a meal with the seniors if able; others were able to grab a meal and go. The culinary team at Tribute at Melford prepared breakfast for 150 people, which included waffles, bacon, sausage, yogurt, bagels, fruit, assorted muffins and juice.
Bowie Police Chief Dwayne Preston, who attended, expressed appreciation for the breakfast and commented that it makes it easy to do their job when they have support from community members.
