Dr. Lane Rolling Visits from the Amazon Jungle to Talk to Bowie State Students about the Real World of Medicine

Dr. Lane Rolling, Director of Clinical Education. Hospital Iquitos/Clinical San Jose/Regional Cusco, Peru, will serve as seminar speaker in the Department of Natural Sciences on Feb. 7, 2012.

Dr. Rolling will share stories of tropical medicine and try to interest the students in traveling to Peru for some hands-on experiences. "I'm excited that our students will have an opportunity to interact with a physician who is practicing medicine on the front lines, in less than optimal conditions," says Dr. Ramsey, Chair of Natural Sciences.
