Fairwood Community Park Performance Series And Music Festival Starts Sunday

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — The Fairwood Community Park Performance Series and Music Festival returns this year after a three-year hiatus due to the pandemic. Performances are free and include both national acts and regional favorites. Fairwood Community Park is located at 12390 Fairwood Parkway in Bowie.

Below is the 2022 schedule:

• June 12, 4 to 6 p.m.: The Walker Redds Project
• July 10 at 3 p.m.: Shakespeare in the Parks
• July 17, 4 - 6 pm: The N2N Band
• Sunday, Aug. 14, 4 - 6 p.m.: The Brencore All-Star Band: A Tribute to the Legends of Funk, Rock, and Soul
• Sunday, Aug. 28, 1-6 p.m.: THE FAIRWOOD MUSIC FESTIVAL featuring DC Fusion, Elyscia, Kevin Jackson, The Exclusives
