Fatal Motorcycle Crash In Largo Under Investigation: Police
The crash occurred Monday night and claimed the life of a Prince George's County man, who was driving a Suzuki sport motorcycle.
LARGO, MD — Maryland State Police are investigating a Monday-night crash that claimed the life of Prince George’s County man. The crash happened around 9:30 p.m. on Central Avenue at Watkins Park Drive in Largo.
According to police, the victim was driving a Suzuki sport motorcycle eastbound on Central Avenue when the crash occurred. He was struck by a Nissan Altima driven by 22-year-old Antanaisa Colvin, of North Carolina, who was attempting to make a left turn from westbound Central Avenue.
Emergency personnel responded and pronounced him dead at the scene, police said. Identification of the victim is pending next of kin notification.

Charges against the driver of the Altima are pending completion of an investigation, though police said they do not believe alcohol was a factor in the crash.
