Shooting Claims Life Of Prince George's Man In Washington, D.C.

A Prince George's man was fatally shot over the weekend in Washington, D.C., police say.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — A Greenbelt man was fatally shot in Washington, D.C., Sunday. According to the Metropolitan Police Department, the shooting occurred in the 300 block of 50th Street Northeast shortly after midnight.

Members of the Sixth District responded to the area for the sounds of gunshots. DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services took 31-year-old Adrian Mack to an area hospital but life-saving efforts failed.

The Metropolitan Police Department currently is offering a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or people responsible for a homicide committed in the District of Columbia. Anyone with information about this case is asked to call the police at 202-727-9099. Anonymous information can be submitted to the department’s text tip line by sending a text message to 50411.
