Firefighter, 2 People Injured In Oxon Hill House Fire
A woman was seriously injured in a house fire Saturday, while a firefighter and another person were taken to the hospital to be checked out.

OXON HILL, MD — A Prince George's County firefighter and two people were injured Saturday after a fire broke out at an Oxon Hill home.
Emergency crews were called to the home located in the 5600 block of Helmont Place Nov. 1 just after 5:30 p.m. They found flames shooting out of both floors of a two-story home.
Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire, the department reported.

A woman who lived at the home was taken to a nearby hospital with serious injuries, the fire department stated, and she is expected to survive.
A man who lived at the home and a firefighter were both taken to the hospital for evaluation.
