Firefighters Rescue Man In Cardiac Arrest From Capitol Heights Rooftop: Official

Prince George's firefighters rescued a worker from the rooftop of a Capitol Heights building who was in cardiac arrest, officials said.

According to the Prince George's County Fire/EMS Department, crews used a high angle rescue maneuver to remove the man in cardiac arrest from the roof and deliver him safely to the ground and into a waiting ambulance.

CAPITOL HEIGHTS, MD — Firefighters were called to a building at 1101 Hampton Park Blvd. around 11:48 a.m. Friday for a report of a construction crew worker in cardiac arrest.

According to the Prince George's County Fire/EMS Department, crews used a high angle rescue maneuver to remove the man in cardiac arrest from the roof and deliver him safely to the ground and into a waiting ambulance.

The man was taken to the hospital in critical condition, the fire department added.
