Firefighters Rescue Small Deer Trapped Between Fences
Firefighters were called to a Cheverly property to safely rescue a small deer that found itself caught between two fences.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — Last week, the Prince George's Fire Department crew from Chapel Oaks Station 838 were alerted to a small deer stuck between two fences on a property line.
The firefighters used hand tools, sheer strength and patience. They quickly cut through a wire fence and were able to set the deer free, according to the fire department.
After checking in with a local wildlife agency, it was determined that the deer could recover in the wild, the fire department disclosed.
