Flare Gun Used To Shoot Driver In Road Rage Incident: Police
Police are searching for the man who shot another driver with a flare gun during a road rage incident New Year's Day in Bowie.
BOWIE, MD — A man was shot with a flare gun during a road-rage incident New Year's Day in Bowie. Police Chief John Nesky said the incident unfolded after 9 a.m. in a parking lot at the Bowie Town Center.
According to the police department, two men can be seen in a video standing outside their vehicles and arguing. Then one man shoots the other with a flare gun, striking him in the cheek.
Police are looking for the shooter who was driving a white Ford pickup with a white topper on the bed of the truck. Anyone with information is asked to call the police department at 240-544-5700.
