Free Immunization Clinics Offered This Week

Students must be immunized against chicken pox, whooping cough, and other diseases to attend Prince George's County Public Schools.

Two free immunization clinics remain this week courtesy of the Prince George’s County Health Department at Prince George’s County schools.

Clinics are open from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. and families must preregister by calling 301-883-7859. Parents are asked bring their child’s immunization record and any letter they received about immunizations from their child’s school.

Friday, June 12 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
International Student Counseling Office (in the Judy Hoyer Family Learning Center), 8908 Riggs Road in Adelphi
Saturday, June 13 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Northwestern High School, 7000 Adelphi Road in Hyattsville

The following vaccines are required for the 2015-2016 school year in addition to all other required childhood immunizations:

Students Entering Kindergarten and Grade 1:
• Two varicella vaccinations (Chickenpox Vaccine)

• One Tdap vaccination (Tetanus, Diphtheria & Pertussis Vaccine)
• One meningococcal vaccine
