Gaithersburg Man Fatally Hit By Vehicle In Hyattsville
A 20-year-old Gaithersburg man has been fatally hit by a vehicle in Hyattsville. The driver remained at the scene.
HYATTSVILLE, MD — Detectives are investigating a fatal crash involving a 20-year-old from Gaithersburg.
The vehicle-pedestrian collision happened Oct. 31 around 12:40 a.m. in the 3300 block of Bladensburg Road. Prince George's Police reported that when officers arrived at the scene, they found Chester Brandon in the road with traumatic injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
A preliminary investigation indicates that a driver hit Brandon with their vehicle while traveling southbound on Bladensburg Road. The driver remained on the scene and wasn't injured, the police department said.
