Go Green at the Bowie Green Expo

Get your child involved in this year's poster contest.

Bowie Lions Club, Bowie’s Green Team, and Bowie’s Chamber of Commerce will host the fifth annual Bowie Green Expo on April 11, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Kenhill Center.

Event attendees can learn how to go green, see wild animals and Electric Vehicle Sports Racers, and children are invited to participate in this year’s expo poster contest.

The poster contest is open to public, private, and homeschooled Bowie students from pre-kindergarten to 12th grade. The contest theme is “Making Bowie a Green City.” Entries must be submitted on poster board (dimensions: 14 x 22 inches) using any medium (markers, crayons, paints, pencil, ink, watercolors, or acrylics) or combination, however, no collages, glued art, printed pictures, or computer art will be accepted.
