Got Something To Say? Bowie City Council Wants To Hear It

The Bowie City Council is hosting a series of listening sessions to provide the public with the opportunity to share what's on their minds.

BOWIE, MD -- The Bowie City Council wants to hear what's on your mind. Residents can share their thoughts about local matters at a series of four listening sessions the Council is hosting in January and February, according to a city release. The first session convenes Wednesday, Jan. 15, at 7 p.m., at the South Bowie Community Center.

This is your opportunity to tell Mayor Tim Adams and the Council what topics they should be focusing on and how they should be spending taxpayer money in 2020. The sessions will take place in each of the city's four Council districts:

  • Wednesday, Jan. 15, 7 p.m. – South Bowie Community Center, 1717 Pittsfield Lane
  • Wednesday, Jan. 29, 7 p.m. – City Hall, 15901 Excalibur Road
  • Thursday, Feb. 13, 7 p.m. – Huntington Community Center, 13022 8th St.
  • Wednesday, Feb. 26. 7 p.m. – Kenhill Center, 2614 Kenhill Drive

Residents can post comments or questions on city social media sites, email them to the Council at publicinfo@cityofbowie.org or call 301-809-3032.
