Grants Available To Nonprofits Working Around MGM National Harbor

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — The Prince George’s County Local Development Council encourages nonprofits that serve the county in a defined impact area around MGM National Harbor to apply for a FY 2022 Local Impact Grant.

The funding could assist them in providing community-based programs and services within the six-mile radius around the MGM National Harbor gaming facility. Organizations interested in receiving funding must submit their application via the online application portal by March 18.

The PGCLDC, in conjunction with the Prince George’s County Office of the County Executive and the Prince George’s County Office of Management and Budget, will offer an optional public grant preparation workshop on Feb. 22 for those applicants that would like additional information prior to submitting their application. Details regarding the workshop will be posted on the PGCLDC website.
