Aaron’s Inc., the appliance and electronics company, recently set the new world record for the largest human mattress dominoes with 1,200 participants taking part in Prince George's County. The feat was accomplished in March, taking a total of 13 minutes and 38 seconds to complete the human chain reaction.

But the folks at Guinness just released a statement and video confirming the record last week.

The first mattress was pushed over by Aaron’s CEO John Robinson. Company officials said the history-making mattresses will be donated to charities in the Washington, DC, area including A Wider Circle, and to the Sasha Bruce and Wanda Alston youth homeless shelters.

“Our associates had great fun participating and knowing their efforts support our mission of giving back to our communities," Robinson said.
