Harley Driver, Passenger Killed After Crashing Into Vehicle In Prince George's County: MSP

A Reisterstown man driving a Harley and his passenger were killed after the motorcycle crashed into the back of a vehicle, police say.

TEMPLE HILLS, MD — A 19-year-old passenger on a motorcycle and the 37-year-old driver both were killed Saturday night when their Harley collided with a vehicle, police say.

Maryland State Police were called to the area of northbound Interstate 495 at Branch Avenue around 8 p.m. Saturday for a report of a crash involving a motorcycle. Quintin Barnes of Reisterstown, the driver of the Harley, and his passenger, Jasmine Jeffries, were pronounced dead on the scene, police say. The driver and passenger of a Dodge vehicle were taken by ambulance to the University of Maryland Capital Regional Medical Center in Largo for treatment of their injuries.

According to a preliminary investigation, the Harley was traveling north on I-495 when, for unknown reasons, hit the back of the Dodge. The Maryland State Police Crash Team continues to investigate the crash.
