Here's Where To Recycle Pumpkins In Prince George's County

Residents can recycle their pumpkins and other natural decorations in the paper lawn/leaf bag or the 32-gallon green wheeled cart.

Pumpkins must be free of inorganic material such as candles, wax, artificial lighting, loose decorations and other non-biodegradable materials. Residents also can drop off pumpkins and other yard trim at the Public Convenience Center on Brown Station Rd.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD β€” Pumpkins and other natural fall decorations like hay, straw and corn cobs can be collected with other curbside organic collections starting in November.

Homeowners can set items curbside by 6 a.m. on Mondays for pickup. Pumpkins, dried corn, hay, straw and compostable decorations must be placed in a paper lawn/leaf bag or the 32-gallon green wheeled cart with food scraps.

Pumpkins must be free of inorganic material such as candles, wax, artificial lighting, loose decorations and other non-biodegradable materials. Residents also can drop off pumpkins and other yard trim at the Public Convenience Center on Brown Station Road in Upper Marlboro.
