Hillary Clinton to Headline Brown Campaign Event

The former secretary of state will be in Prince George's County Thursday.

On the last day of early voting in Maryland, former U.S. secretary of state Hillary Clinton will rally at College Park in support of Democratic gubernatorial hopeful Lt. Gov. Anthony Brown, according to organizers.

The rally is planned for Thursday at the University of Maryland College Park.

Clinton—who previously canceled a September campaign visit and sent her husband, former President Bill Clinton, in her place—plans to encourage students at the university to hit the ballot box on the last day of early voting, The Washington Post reported.

Voter turnout is considered to be a key in this election for Brown, who has particularly targeted African-American populations including those in Prince George’s County, according to The Daily Record.

In addition to Brown and Clinton, Howard County Executive Ken Ulman—on the ticket for lieutenant governor—will be in attendance at the rally, The Post reported.
