The Terps improve their record of 28-6 overall, and 14-4 in the Big Ten.

Next up for Maryland is No. 5 West Virginia, which downed No. 12 Buffalo 68-62 earlier in the day. The Terps play the Mountaineers on Sunday; a game time and TV network to air the next round matchup have yet to be announced.

The NCAA Championship game scheduled for April 6 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
