ICYMI: What's Open, Closed in Bowie on Presidents' Day 2015?

All Bowie city offices will be closed Monday, Feb. 16, for the Presidents’Day holiday.

According to the city’s website, in addition to the office closures, there will be no refuse or recycling collection. Collection resumes on the next regularly scheduled day.

Because of the Monday holiday, the regular Bowie City Council meeting will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 17.

Also, all Prince George’s County Public Schools and offices will be closed that day.

Prince George’s County:

The Brown Station Road Sanitary Landfill and all waste management services and facilities, including recycling, yard waste, bulky trash and refuse collection, will operate on a regular schedule on Feb. 16.

TheBus, the countywide transit service, will provide regular service on all routes on Monday, except for Route 51. The County’s Call-A-Bus and Senior Transportation services will not operate on Monday.

The Department of Permitting, Inspections and Enforcement will be closed on Monday.

In addition, Prince George’s CountyClick 3-1-1 will also be closed on Feb. 16. Residents can submit service/issue requests online atwww.countyclick311.com.
