Infant and Toddler Enrichment Classes NOW Enrolling
Music, Dance and Sign classes for babies 1 month+ and toddlers! Fun and active, these classes will teach you lots and wear them out!
The summer session of Infant and Toddler Enrichment classes held at the South Bowie Community Center is now enrolling. Each class will meet twice a week for 3 weeks.
Starting June 5th
Introduction to Music: Monday and Wednesday @ 10am- 10:30am

Learn the basics of music such as tone, dynamics (volume), tempo (speed), rhythm, and playing parts. Develop gross motors skills and an appreciation for music. Caregiver must attend and participate. Let’s dance! Although the course description says ballet and creative movement, we will be doing ballet and tap. If you are looking for creative movement, Fitness Storytime is the place for you. We will do the foot positions, plies, tondues, and jumps in ballet and then do simple tap steps, such as stamp/stomp/step, toe taps and heel drops. Develop gross motor skills and pre-math skills. The ever popular baby sign experience continues. Six classes of language and performing arts immersion to expose your child to a real second language. Through songs, stories, pretending, chants, rhymes, hands-on activities, and puzzles, children gain exposure to numbers, letters and phonics, colors, emotions, greetings, foods, family member relationships, animals, every day signs and more.
