Register Now For The Annual Law Enforcement Torch Run Through Bowie June 11

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — The Bowie Police Department will host the annual Law Enforcement Torch Run through town June 11. Anyone can join in the group fun run; however, organizers encourage primarily adult runners to join in so as to keep a "steady pace" on major roadways. A bus will be available for anyone who needs to take a break.

Bowie officers and staff will carry the Flame of Hope to support Special Olympics Maryland athletes. Local runners can get in on the action at the Bowie Plaza, 6796 Laurel Bowie Road. The local stretch ends at the Chik-Fil-A Marketplace at 15505 Annapolis Road. The fee is $15 per person, which includes a T-shirt. Register here.
