Jury Convicts PG County Man Of Killing Teacher, Toddler: Report

UPPER MARLBORO, MD -- A jury has convicted a man of shooting and killing a Prince George's County school teacher and their 2-year-old daughter after being ordered to pay $600 in monthly child support, according to a WTOP report.

The jury found Daron Boswell Johnson, 25, of Forestville guilty of first-degree murder in the Feb. 2, 2016 slayings of his daughter, Chloe Davis-Green, and her mother, 26-year-old NeShante Davis.

Davis was a teacher at Bradbury Heights Elementary School in Capitol Heights. According to the school’s website, she taught second grade.

Investigators believe Boswell-Johnson went to Davis’ townhome to confront her about child support issues.

According to Maryland online court records, Davis took the suspect to court in 2015; a paternity test found that Boswell-Johnson was the child’s father. A Prince George’s County judge in December 2015 ordered Boswell-Johnson to pay $600 a month in child support.

He faces two counts of first- and second-degree murder.
