District Heights Man Found Shot In Car In Prince George's County
Police are searching for more information in the shooting death of a 30-year-old Landover man in Prince George's County.

LANDOVER, MD — A District Heights man has died after he was found shot in a car in Landover, police said.
The victim has been identified as David Knott Jr., 30, of Kipling Parkway. He was shot on January 4 and succumbed to his injuries at the hospital the next day, police said. At this time detectives believe the shooting was not a random act.
Knott Jr. was found inside an SUV at the intersection of Hill Road and Willow Hill Drive at about 3:45 p.m. He was suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body and transported to a nearby hospital, police said.

Detectives are working to identify a suspect(s) and motive in this case.
